2. Why do we process your personal data?

At JAVYK, we process the personal information (personal data) provided by customers, consumers of our products: (i) to register you as a new customer, manage the commercial relationship with our customers, issue invoices, process your order, ship products, and provide the requested service; and (ii) to improve our Website, products/services, marketing, or customer relations, and to send advertising messages if the customer gives their consent for this purpose.

  • a) Authorization to process personal data for the purpose of managing the commercial relationship with customers is legally based on the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (EU GDPR) and Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Privacy Code).

The disclosure of the user's personal data is required by law to enter into a purchase contract with JAVYK, as JAVYK cannot fulfill its obligations to the user without certain information that falls under the definition of personal data. Customers (“data subjects”) are therefore obliged to provide their personal data, as they would otherwise be unable to purchase the products on the Website.

The “REGISTER” option will be displayed when submitting an order through the Website, where you will find a form to enter the required personal data. If you do not enter the necessary personal data, you will not be able to create an account on the Website, nor access or operate through it.

  • b) Authorization to process personal data to receive commercial messages is legally based on the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (EU GDPR) and Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Privacy Code), regarding the consent of data subjects to the processing of their personal data and specifically to receiving advertising messages.

Consent granted for data processing may be revoked at any time. Under no circumstances will the revocation of consent affect the execution of the contract entered into with JAVYK.

4. How long will we store your personal data?

Personal data provided by users will be stored by JAVYK at least for the duration of the commercial relationship between the parties and until erasure has been requested by the data subject or unless there is a legal obligation to do so.

JAVYK will adopt appropriate security measures to protect the integrity of the information and the confidentiality of personal data, and to prevent its breach during the storage period, which is limited to legal requirements.

The customer's bank details required during the purchase process will not be saved or stored by JAVYK. The customer will be transferred to an external bank payment platform to complete the purchase and payment. Only payment service providers will store such data in order to provide their services.

5. Who will your data be shared with?

Personal data collected through the “REGISTER” or “CONTACT” form will not be published on the Website, but will be processed exclusively for the purposes indicated in these privacy terms and conditions.

JAVYK shares data collected through its Website with OVERDATO CALLCENTER SERVICES, SL. to provide its services, IT hosting, and marketing. OVERDATO is a company incorporated in Spain, and its servers are all located within the European Economic Area, thus ensuring an adequate level of protection for the processed data.

If we transfer your personal information outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we will rely on recognized transfer mechanisms, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, to ensure an adequate level of protection.

Obtained personal data will not be transferred to third-party companies, unless there is a legal obligation to do so. The collected data is intended exclusively for use by JAVYK.

6. Other websites

The Website contains links to other websites. This privacy policy applies only to the Website at the URL address http://www.versetparfums.it. If you click on a link to another Website, we advise you to read their privacy policy.

In particular, the Website uses Shopify services to process payments made on its store. By clicking the button to proceed to checkout, you will be redirected to a page managed by Shopify, with a separate privacy policy. You can access the privacy policy by clicking the corresponding link once redirected to that Website.

JAVYK has adopted appropriate technical and organizational security measures to ensure the integrity of information and the confidentiality of data, in compliance with established obligations, as described in the security document, pursuant to company policy regarding data protection.

The security measures adopted include the specification and identification of persons authorized to access data and IT systems, the recording of such information in the security document, informing persons with access to data regarding confidentiality commitments, implementing access control measures, logging incidents, and applying a system for obtaining backup copies and recovering information.

Personal data collected through the order form will be used to process the order. At the time of ordering, your data will be entered into an archive owned by JAVYK for the purpose of facilitating future orders, which you can update through the customer option on the Website. They may also provide you with information about JAVYK's cosmetics and perfumery products and services. Bank details relating to the transaction are stored in a specially designed database and will not be retained except during the purchase, payment, and until the expiration of the right of withdrawal period.
